چکیده
Plastics follow a linear economic structure, leading to detrimental environmental effects, such as global warming and ecosystem destruction, through incineration accumulation throughout their life cycle. This study examined the types, potential generation amounts, properties of recycled plastics from waste electrical electronic equipment (WEEE) assess feasibility closed-loop recycling WEEE under South Korea’s EPR system. Actual data companies were used determine factors, processing volume WEEE. As 2021, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (53,363 tons), polypropylene (14,320 polystyrene (8199 tons) produced by both large small The meet specifications new products. In addition, an analysis using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology showed that effect (avoided emissions) reached 262,033 tons CO2 eq. per year. Therefore, is most suitable effective method for reducing greenhouse gases. paper presents amount generated within regulatory framework, providing valuable foundational policy development promoting use plastics.

متن کاملWaste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling for a sustainable resource supply in the electronics industry in China
High consumption of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) is accompanied with a high yield of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Meanwhile, because the different types of resources have their own unique properties, the current content of each type will remain limited in a range of fluctuations. Therefore, WEEE recycling is an obvious choice to meet the resource demands of the...

Brominated flame retardants (BFRs) are synthetic additives mainly used in electrical and electronic appliances and in construction materials. The properties of some BFRs are typical for persistent organic pollutants, and certain BFRs, in particular some polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) congeners and hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD), are suspected to cause adverse health effects. Global consump...
